We started planning where to go, what to do, money needed,visas needed, items to bring, what to pack etc...
First is to start saving up and to see how much $$ we need to bring. Targetted to spend one day per person around USD$ 50. That includes meal, transportation and accommodation. Seems very little but i think it should be suffice. ( Or so we think )We will find out if it is when we start the trip.
Second is to arrange auto deductions for our monthly commitments. Making sure we have enough money in the accounts to last for at least 6 months. Arrange for family members to check on the house occasionally.
We did a bit of research on where to go , what to bring, what is required etc.
At first it was to go Southeast Asia. Visit places like Laos, Thailand, Myanmar, Vietnam etc.
Then we found this forum. www.sgtravelcafe.com . Talked to a few folks and then we decided to visit central asia.

It all started 2 years ago. While sitting ard, sipping Teh 'O' kurang manis ( tea w/o milk less sugar ), we came up with this idea of going for this trip.
